FUNDAMENTALS OF INCREASING SALES IN BUSINESS (2)

8. Not more than 20% of an industry/company’s sales force control 80% of the market share/income and not less than 80% of the sales force control 20% of the income. 
- To shift your sales gear, you must understudy those making 80% of the income.
- To succeed in sales, be a protégé to those who are excelling in that field/company.

9. Sometimes, to increase sales it does not always require more money.
- Simply reproduce yourself by asking for referrals. This approach is more cost effective and performance-oriented.


10. In your business, one of the tools for igniting sales growth is an attractive reward system for customer or sales force that refer you to new markets.
- Nevertheless, ensure you don’t promise what you cannot deliver.
- Your ultimate goal should be delivery to customers. That way, your sales force and existing customers would continue to be your silent sales advocate.

11. Passion is the secret weapon of sales at any level.
- Passion is what makes a vision compelling. 
- Passion is contagious, audible and visible. If you have to convince people that you are passionate then, it is proof that you have lost it. 
- Nobody buys from you because you speak eloquently but for your enthusiasm and depth of knowledge. 

12. Nothing sells like Credibility. It includes offering good price without compromising quality.
- People will continue to patronize you if you have developed a reputation for delivering on promise.
- This is why I say, it is better to under promise and over deliver than over promise and under deliver.
- Delivery on promise is the catalyst for building a reliable brand.
- You can only deceive people once. Once you are found, you lose it all.
- It is better to lose money than lose your name. If you lose money and retain a good name, you will keep pulling money. If you lose your name however, you lose it all.
- Like I say in most of my conferences and seminars, “EVEN A THIEF IS LOOKING FOR WHOM TO TRUST”. So, be TRUSTWORTHY.
- Nothing enhances the velocity of money like TRUST and you can't earn people's trust except you are a person or company of integrity.
- Always remember that for every new contact, TRUST is ZERO. It takes relationship to build trust (both ways). This is the reason, I don’t encourage cold calling (especially if your offerings are intangible products).
- To succeed in sales, leverage on the trust that people have for you and others that you know.
